Age Suitability:
Kids and up
On the second Saturday of each month, the LSU Museum of Art has a special program to inspire young artists.
Explore, Take and Make
Eye Spy Shapes and Other Stuff: (apologies to Dr. Seuss) While visiting the galleries, try spying shapes - silhouettes - of the artworks. Then, take home a bag of goodies to create your own silhouette inspired artwork. Supplies are available on a first come, first-served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult who should be ready to play along. This program is part of Second Saturdays, sponsored through a grant from the Pennington Foundation.
