Cohn Arboretum

Treat yourself to a relaxing visit to this beautifully landscaped 16-acre tract of heavily wooded land used for the preservation and study of native plants and flora from other areas. BREC's Cohn Arboretum houses several major plant collections including a Japanese Maple Collection, an Orchid/Bromeliad House, a Tropical House, a Camellia Collection, Evergreen and Conifer collections, a Crape Myrtle Collection and an Herb/Fragrance Garden. Favorite special displays include evergreens, hollies, spring flowering trees and bulbs, camellias, azaleas, roses, magnolias, irises, annuals and year-round displays of tropicals and orchids. Visitors are welcome to walk through winding trails in a tranquil setting.
