Art gumbo Community Market

The ART GUMBO MARKET will be offering shopping and browsing under the trees at Houmas House Plantation on Saturday, October 17 from 10am -2pm. The historic Plantation is located on the River Road in Ascension Parish. Chef Jeremy Langlois will be presenting a special free tasting booth with one of his delightful dishes from the Burnside Grill, the on site restaurant. There will be pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, carved gourd art, wood carvings, live plants, fused glass art, fabric art, folk art & crafts and other unique original art pieces. This free art event is presented by River Region Art Association every third Saturday of the month to bring community and culture together.
